The concert will be held at The Fillmore New Orleans for the first time since launching at Tipitina’s club in 2017.

Tipping Point, Tulane University's fundraising concert, is set to take place on Nov. 1 in New Orleans and will feature performances by Jimmy Vivino, Tash Neal, George Porter Jr., Cyril Neville and more.

The concert will also feature Mavis Staples, Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes), Anders Osborne, Larkin Poe, Amy Helm, and Ivan Neville. It will be held at The Fillmore New Orleans for the first time since launching at Tipitina's club in 2017.

Producer UpperWest Music Group's Greg Williamson told Billboard that the concert, happening during the university's Homecoming/Family Weekend, is one of a kind.

"To my knowledge, this is one of the only universities in the country doing a benefit concert, at this level with this type of talent and star power, on an annual basis," he said. "The concert really gives us an opportunity to celebrate so much of American culture while at the same time raising money for a terrific school and thanking their alumni for being such great supporters of the school and the city."

Tulane says the money raised will go towards scholarships that will "attract and support the next generation of promising young leaders."
